Kinda wish I'd bought 6k worth of calls instead of 600

 

Made a play today...I have 800 shares of $NBEV @$2.67 and every time it spikes I think "I should sell..." So I just sold 7 NBEV Nov 06 2020 $3.00 Call @ 0.1 = FOR total of $65.34...If it closes tomorrow under $3.00 I get keepsies....IF it's over $3.10 I miss out...

 

it's NEVER enough...When $FB dipped and the $265 11/20 call was @$1,100 (I paid $1,600) I said I should 2x up because I believe it the value...I didn't...they're up to $3,200 today

 

Too true. Same with me and the STZ 11/20 $180 calls. They were giving them away last week and I put my money elsewhere

 

That's a great stock for options...it's like a sin wave. I played in and out a few times...Buy the $185 at $170...Sell at $185...and eventually get stuck empty handed when it runs to $200 of course
I first became interested in them when the UFC switched from Bud Light to Modello...I was like...hey...who makes Modello? 10/10/2017...It hit like $220 back then.

 

And NIO just broke $40. Sitting at 176% return so far on my calls. I should sell and pat myself on the back but greed. lol

 

So I got 2 corsair calls for $2.90.... CRSR Dec 18 2020 $30 Call Now I'm trying to by another at $2.25...gotta average...

 

I guess I should play too. I picked up a few Dec $25 calls.

NIO also just hit $41 and my calls hit 184% return. I had 20. I just sold 8. That covered the OG premiums and left me with $880 profit. Those other 12 calls are now payed for. I'm going to hold through earnings because free money. lol

how do you guys keep up with all these option trades and taxes at the end of the year? just curious..I know options are a tad different than futures/equities..

 

They send you the forms and then you send them to your accountant. And keep some cash handy to pay taxes.

 

They just get taxed as short term capitol gains/losses. E-Trade sends me all that info in February. I just import that into HR Block and done.

 

No bites at $2.25 and it's right back up there again...

Which is why I use VWAP and MACD to figure out when to enter. I entered just as the MACD crossed to buying trend and it was 50 pennies below VWAP. It should close at or above VWAP today.

Yup...you can even log in through the tax software and import your sales.

 

It was a reach price...I wasn't actually looking to add, but would have at that price.

 

Ok...I held $FB...let's see if it stays overnight...or we get another overnight f@$%fest.....
