Yep. And I agree with secure app verification but this could be offloaded to 3rd party verifiers at a reasonable cost, Apples 30% take of all apps is a ridiculous charge due to a monopoly on their iphones. Break all these monopolies up.

Yeah, after 30 minutes of reading more reviews the choice became pretty easy. The OLED panel is off the charts good. The reviews after proper color calibration are hands down the best of any TV ever. The response time is better then all but the most expensive PC gaming monitors.

I'll get 5% rewards points with my Big A Visa card. Then another $200 from Big A in the form of a credit. That's $310 bucks that I'll use towards a PS5 when Big A gets them in stock. My new TV will pay for 75% of my PS5. Talk about a great deal. lol

 

Just finished riding north star. I now have to add sunscreen and aloe to my oh shit I forgot stuff list. Also about to have to fill up with gas but at least I left myself enough to make it back into Reno so I’m not paying the 5.50 at the station I passed on the way in.

I usually go to tacos jalisco when coming back from our trips outside truckee/jackson meadows. super bomb. Loved the meal plans. Food was pretty decent, especially for the burgers, tacos, and stir fry, at least better than what I was eating most of the time

There’s a Panera bread that’s supposed to be done on campus by September. They will have something where you can use one “swipe” and get a meal. I will be eating plenty of bagels since there’s 3 different places that have a bagel sandwich for a meal swipe for breakfast and lunch.

 

Wish they had that when I was there, but I'll be goin back probably next fall. and wowza. Bout to become friendly with the aloe

So my monitor wont play audio through its speakers from my xbox. I can't really find anything about if the monitors speakers will work through HDMI or if it has to be VGA. of course I don't have a VGA cable with me. There's a 3.5mm jack on the monitor but the only audio output on the console itself is S/PDIF.

The monitor is a AOC E2752She. Couldn't find anything about which port supports audio. I may head to bestbuy and get a VGA as well as a S/pdif to 3.5mm jack and see which of the two works, and return the other.

Is there something I'm not thinking about?

 

If the HMDI port has ARC or eARC it will support audio. If not the HDMI will only carry video signal. All ARC HDMI ports say ARC on the port. If the monitor isn't stamped with that you gotta use the optical connection for audio. The 3.5mm is most likely only a stereo out port, not in.

VGA doesn't transmit sound...HMDI does

 

Amazon said it had it when I bought it, also has volume up and down on the bottom of the monitor. weird. I do have a portable speaker so maybe I just use the 3.5 out plugged into the portable speaker.

 

Did you select HDMI in both the XBOX and on the monitor under the Audio section?
