    I don't think so. I could get a non-4k but pretty sure they're all "smart". Mine is 4k and i keep if off of internet since i use the ps4 for everything

    My wife came home and saw me pulling the old TV off the wall. She also saw a giant ass box with LG on it. Yep. The gig was up. She was completely cool with it. The old 55" will go in the bedroom. Then she asked if I could hang the old 50" that's in the bedroom in the garage. That way she can watch workout videos on something other then her laptop. I agreed and she was stoked before I even hung the new TV.

    TV's hooked up and it is pretty sweet. I haven't had time to fuck with calibration yet so I just chose the stock setting that looked best. After that we put on Fantastic Fungi. It took all of the opening seen to realize the OLED 4K panel is amazing. I actually paused it at more then a few points to see how much detail and clarity was there. The answer is a lot.

    To make sure I wasn't just imagining it because I now have a way to expensive TV I put the old 55" 1080P on the stand. Then I set it on the living room floor. I got as close to a true sync of Fantastic Fungi on both screens as I could. It was off by maybe .5 seconds. Then I asked my wife what she thought of the difference in picture quality. She asked why I didn't do this sooner. She was amazed at the level of detail present. I got the thumbs up for the purchase. Sweet. lol
