I feel like it'll keep dipping today, but I'll keep an eye on it

 

hedge funds selling their stakes in S&P companies to shore up cash to pay us on the GME squeeze. Bullish

 

This happened on Wednesday too - the entire market took that downturn because bigass hedge funds had to greatly increase liquidity rapidly and had to let go of holdings.

That this whole thing is tremoring the whole market is wild.

 

Here they go pushing down....

 

GME in a slow melt with volumes between 50 and 150k. This is hilarious. Something is going to happen at some point and no one wants to light the fuse.

They can't... buying pressure is suppressed by the brokerages.

anyone grabbing other good value stocks on sale?

 

Only some brokerages such as RH. Fidelity and Schwab seem to be just fine, though they're not letting you borrow money to buy on margin but buying with available cash works.

 

They're probably doing what they did before - back and forth buy/sell short trading. Volume is still pretty low.

Only for retail, and no offense to any of us, but this turns on the whales. There are plenty of bigass funds out there that benefit from this short squeeze as much as retail longs. That's who is really pushing up aside from the tiny percentage us plebs contribute to the process.

Retail sitting on multiple weeks worth of buying? That is more meaningful than anything we're doing actively during a single trading day.

I only have one thing green for the day in our non-fun money account.

 

Same. Gold is minorly green today.

Everything else diving.

Happens sometimes.

 

surprisingly it’s an energy stock (Dominion).
