are you long but think it's overvalued right now but 6 months from now still want to be holding the stock or did you do this to make as much money and get out?

 

The highest profit will always be selling to close the call because it will have some time value.
after you sell to close the call THEN you buy 50 shares instead of exercising the call to get 100 and sell 50....because again, the call will have more value

Ok, guess I’ll have to look into it. My thought was grab some profit now, and then deciding the best way to future proof the rest, if I owned the shares at 9.80 I could sell the covered calls OTM, then I have shares for longer term, or I lose them for even more profit.

Yea trying to get my calls back to even. I’m only 4% away!

 

But they did do some impressive high altitude aerobatics before the range blew it up

 

astra showed they’ve got steel balls for letting her shimmy off the pad and infrastructure before slowly lifting off.

The amount of money they saved on pad repairs and cleanup was immense.

also, for such a large engine anomaly the rocket remained under control.

I know that Astra didn’t really fail, but I expected the markets to react like they did and immediately dip.

 

Sold 2 of my RKLB calls for 100% profit. Now it either soars to punish me for selling those 2, or it crashes to punish me for not selling the other 3. I’ve put that bitch in a PICKLE! Hahaha

 

I’m up 28% on shares so I’m thinking it might be time to paper hand myself into some profits.
