Alternative explanation: After seeing a long history of failed green energy fads, some people just assume this one is also going to fail and decided to try to make some money off of it.

Why do you think many of them fail? Usually its not because its a bad product, much of the time their company is purchased by a larger competitor and then gutted, or they are locked down with red tape by corporate lobbying.

I mean look at all the crappy products that are doing great, they are doing great because there is no competition with bigger check books. Amazon shut down all other competitors before they could even get off the ground, google does the same thing.

Also to add to that point, a lot of the time the tech that fails is a great concept, but not feasible to produce large scale due to cost.

This. We can technically create gold in a laboratory. It's just too energy and resource intensive to make it profitable.

And thats a advantage of these batteries. Iron and water are the main parts of these instead of li-on on other batteries. iron and water are so common

also speaking of Amazon stuffing out competitors. it makes you wonder if they are in cahoots with a competitor of $V

So right before we all burn to death when our sun blows up, these batteries will be super cheap to make!

Not quite. We'll have been burnt to death for a few billion years before the sun starts fusing iron

    another thought on this..
One would assume that there are FAR more transactions via Amazon than brick and mortar with respect to visa...you go to walmart you're buying all at once in 1 transaction with Amazon people are doing multiple daily purchases here and there...so there are more 'micro' fees...I wonder if there are minimums...I'm sure Visa could get out of it with the same amount of profit they realize from brick and mortar...vs Amazon strong arming to drive customers to THEIR mastercard so they can 3x dip with fees...
