Interesting that based on raw #'s
$SNOW and $CRWD performed about the same on earnings...guidance etc...
However $SNOW is up 15% $CRWD is up 4%

They're both off their 52 week high, but $CRWD is down $90 from it....

I wish I had more $$...

 

Took some profits on $AAPL today in my IRA.
Bought at $135...Stopped out on a trailer set to exit if it broke $163 today and returned... 20% return...
I'm going to hold that cash for a bit and see what happens tomorrow...This might be a dead cat bounce in the market

 

On that topic I go back and forth these days on replacing my 10% bond allocation in my portfolio with a blend of blue chip dividend stocks.

Bonds are a guaranteed real loss at least for years IMO, possibly for decades or longer. But they're also non-correlated and offer diversification/rebalancing value.

Oh well...will keep mulling it over.

 

I posted this yesterday. IDK if you saw it...It basically breaks down the money machine and as a side effect points out how futile bonds are right now with the money machine and how stocks will continue to rise to beat inflation on principle...Every time the fed sneezes at a taper the market tanks so the fed says "whoa...we didn't mean it..."

I was going to get out at $170 the other day but flaked and then it tanked...I said if it recovers to $163 today I'm not getting stuck in a sell off back to the $150's

Still kept some shares from $135...but had to take some profits

 

It bounced between support ant resistance a few times today.

I made a rookie mistake and bought the calls when RSI was high instead of waiting for an opportunity. So I'm only up like $7 at most so far anyways.

What are the odds it gaps up tomorrow like it did yesterday lol

Not worried. Gold keeps pace with inflation over long timelines but in the short term has the volatility of a commodity.
