RSI is the lowest it's been all year, to get to $100 would need a metric frig-ton of naked shorts but not impossible.

Notices of a couple of critical vulnerabilities were released yesterday. The advisories recommended immediate emergency patching. It is possible that the saw indications of compromise and had to take action to remediate fast.

Google "apache log4j" as that was probably the worst that I saw and it is likely that many companies are using apache (linux web software).

 

Looking at this chart, I really don't think it'll drop to $100. it might drop to the $120s but to lose 20% from where it is now seems unlikely.



note the RSI below 30. even when it went to $40 in February it didn't drop this low.

I think FOMO works better on a stock that’s going UP
Why would someone who doesn’t believe in this think when it’s going from 160-250 or 40 to 100 or 100-300 decide it’s ripe for the picking as it’s falling from 250-100 or lower? If the only catalyst to kick off a squeeze is FOMO, well, that’s not good.

 

because the lower it is when it starts to rocket the better for the FOMO crowd.

Say it goes from $130 to $160 today, people will pile in as they see that shift.

If it went from $300 to $360, people would still buy but with the cost basis being so high less people can afford it.
