That's kind of how art has always worked.

I get that being a less tangible thing than a physical artwork a lot of people might have a hard time seeing how it could have value. But as a bit of a doodler myself, I'll tell you that at least in my case, there is still a lot of effort/skill involved in drawing anything worthwhile.

Is the platypus bullshit? Sort of looks like it, but who am I to say? I think all the ape club/punks NFTs are very lazy and doing a disservice where the public is starting to think NFT="PFP"

A work being digital does not mean it is devoid of value.

Just because fart sniffing richies aren't the ones deciding what has value in this instance does not indicate lack of value.
