Also there was just today yet another push to play options on Reddit.

So I'd be cautiously optimistic here.

This might be come sort of trap where people were shit talking options all day then price spikes like mad AH.

What happens next? You FOMO because you took sane advice to stay away from options if you don't know what you're doing, and premiums just spiked.

Now you feel all warm and fuzzy with those overpriced calls... The perfect time to hammer the price down so you sell those calls back at a loss and they take in free premiums for the next batch of crime.

 

That's why the best time to buy them was yesterday or this morning. Fomo crowd gonna get rekt if they pile in with the IV spiking the premiums. I took a calculated risk and shit it might have worked

I bought some $950 Jan 21 calls for .8 a pop.

I had a feeling to buy weeklies but opted to buy shares today. Which didn’t happen anyways only $1 a way from my limit lol

I feel you though. If I had cash, I'dve bought calls myself today when the price tanked because that's absolutely not sustainable.

If I were a betting man, the timing of the AH spike and those articles tells me they were pushed as a "reason" for the climb while HF's covered FTDs.

basically, fake news to hide the crime.

 

I need a Barney style "how to" on calls. I've been watching this thread for a few months and have learned absolutely nothing, "21 calls for .8 a pop" doesn't even register.
