    True.

Also a new gladiator rubicon is like $60k and you'd want to re-gear it anyways for 37's. And since you're already in the axles, rip out those shitty E-lockers and go ARB so you can put in an OBA system along with the lockers. And you gotta upgrade those axle shafts too cause they'll snap like toothpicks if you bind up a stock D44 front on 37's with the amount of beer I'd carry in the jeep

FUCK. Everything is too goddamned expensive!!

There's not many Toyota IFS rigs that have run the full trail. Most guys that say they did Fordyce don't do Fordyce. They come in and go out Commitee. The whole trail is no joke. I almost flipped. My buddy almost flipped. I broke my passenger rear glass. My buddy beat the shit out of his front driver quarter panel. Straps and winches came out more then once. I've done all of the Rubi in 8 hours. Fordyce took us 14 and it's 1/3 as long. lol

Yep. The funny thing about Fordyce is I wasn't worried about the crawling. I was worried about the water crossings. Turns out the water crossings are the easiest part of the whole damn thing. lol

They sure do. After 1, 2 and 3 I was pretty exhausted mentally. Then we get to winch hill 4. We get out to have a closer look at the lines. My first words where "You've got to be fucking kidding me."

Boatside armor and a wrap around front skid plate on a 3rd gen taco with a PTO generator in the bed and a 20k PTO winch. It'll be like pulling a sled up a hill. Easy peasy

That big ass pine in the top middle of winch hill 4 saved my ass. That tree is possibly the most winched on tree in Cali. lol

rear-steer buggies have a tough time with fordyce. I don't think a 3rd gen taco is making it up there without a helicopter :(
