That's how earnings work..Scanner bots read the SEC filings as soon as they are public. That's why there are sell offs at unreasonable rates and why 75% of all stocks decline on earnings...As soon as the algorithm dumps the stock it triggers stop losses and everyone starts dumping and THEN they catch the news...
