Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I'm trying to decide what my number is to buy more GME. I want to get in on some more before happy hour. With options expiring tomorrow, I'm hopeful we get a late afternoon pop and some good after hours activity before we go tomorrow

 

Tuesday was rough, but yesterday wasn't so bad. Today is looking pretty bad again, so far at least.

 

And again, GME and AMC are nearly identical of each other. Man, there has to be something to that!

 

Yes and no. The underlying theory is still sound, nothing has changed except this global campaign of fear uncertainty and doubt.

The media is telling us "its over." It can't be, thats not news. Why would they be paid to say that? Cause there's still billions of dollars on the line to be lost by big money I think.

 

I kinda knew that was coming. Rockets dont take off when there are more passengers than fuel. There needs to be a time of despair to help shed some weight.

They don't want you to look good. Still have to buy back more shares than they have. Real report will be Feb 9th when we see that

 

My line if thinking is that what caused this to really take off was the momentum on Reddit, which is fading now. People have short memories, crazes die off fast. I'm not selling - like I've said I can lose it without any issue - but I'm not seeing any reason why it should take off again. With the share price falling by this much, even if the short sellers haven't settled up, the interest is so much lower they can afford to hold out for longer. Why is Feb 9 significant? From what I understand these shorts don't have expiration dates.

I was referring to the attack on the "free" market. The retail investors (us) had the HFs backed into a corner and they were able to weasel their way out by restricting buying of GME on RH last Thursday. I'm disgusted by this. It seems the wealthy play by one set of rules while we play by another. BTW, the liquidity concerns had to have been on RHs radar. Instead of being proactive they were reactive because it created an opportunity for HFs. Yes I'm a little salty because I got kicked in the teeth.

I had a sell set for $0.34. Got out..made $0.10 x 10,000 shares overnight

 

I didn't like the dip and then the sideways and I had some $265's..
I also closed the FEB $260's
I kept 2 March $260's

 

That's why I just put more limit buys on

This guy didn't have diamond hands, unlike me.

 

At this point it's arguable GME is below a solid buy price for a long position completely ignoring the short/meme situation. Ryan Cohen did very well with Chewy and a lot of folks out there are targeting a fundamental value of ~$150 within 3 to 5 years for GME.

If you get in at these prices and it doesn't do anything major in the next 1-2 months, just sit on it and check back in a few years.

For those of you that got in at $300: Your call. Might not be that kind of steam left in this thing.

 

Don't worry. I'm 42 and my dad still treats me like i'm 17.

I have an 8 year old boy myself and am wondering at what age I refuse to acknowledge his opinion.

 

For me, I had this as a short, but yeah, now as long it is intriguing.
