Came home from work and put my sweatshirt over a chair. Sweatshirt falls off of chair onto floor. Cat has a new bed.

 

I absolutely despise cats, given that my elderly neighbor across the street had 7 of them she let roam outside and they annihilated all the birds, squirrels, rodents, and reptiles in my already sparsely populated backyard and surrounding wildlife area. Thankfully she's dead now, so I'll acknowledge your cat is a cute kitty.

As to the cats. Only the neighborhood knows what might have happened to them

 

Domestic cats kill more things than anything in the world. Billions of things a year. This is an indoor cat. Since we found him he’s killed a grand total of one wild animal. There was a chipmunk running back-and-forth from the birdfeeder stowing seeds somewhere... well one time he went too close to the sliding screen door the cat burst into it so hard it popped it off its track he caught the chipmunk… He brought it in the house and started attacking it… My wife picked him up and threw him outside with it. He proceeded to eat the entire thing head to tail. It was an amazing weight to consumption ratio...Like if we ate a 20 pound steak. We monitor the next day and the day after that no intestinal issues. Just a very successful hunt.

 

I guess it comes out right at midnight.
