I have a little GME in my gamblefolio. If something has a 1% chance of 1000x-ing, not putting a sum you can lose inconsequentially into it is foolish.

95% of my assets are not in my gamblefolio, if that tells you anything.

Selloff is probably the jawboning about "6 more rate hikes", which some people weren't expecting. Even that puts us at a lofty...1.75% FFR near the end of 2023 2022. Assuming they even do them all - I bet the jawboning and long timeline make the last few unnecessary in actuality.

Its really checkmate Fed. Your mortgage got sold to some wall st house and packaged into an MBS with a bunch of other stuff a long time ago. Now it's sitting on the Fed's balance sheet after they went on this latest QE spree.

hopefully with the fed stating their direction and intentions over the next year or so, this will stabilize the markets a bit, and everyone can get back to business as usual and try to slowly climb back up
