Still waiting on Fidelity to get their shit together and let me add my bank account to my brokerage account..

 

haha, I actually just got off the phone with Fidelity a little bit ago after waiting on hold for over an hour. I applied for options trading about a week ago and hadn't heard anything back yet.

The guy on the phone said they are just absolutely inundated with new accounts right now and they're working as fast as they can to process everything.

 

I forgot I had a Fidelity but that's where my company keeps my employee stock plan so it auto enrolled me in an individual investment account and they dumped the dividends into that so I had some play money. It was sitting on AMC but as soon as that went green this morning I dumped it and now its on GTII.

I really do not like the interface of the Fidelity app

 

Same...Set up my rorth, applied for options...and waited...and then called and it said "Hold time 1.5hours"
fuck that..I'll give them a week and just buy some AAPL shares

Same, although I did not know I had an account because I chose to pay bills and eat rather than buy into a company I was only working at to do so for the short term.

 

Hopefully they're coming from you know where to invest in you know what so our numbers get a little more even lol

 

I imagine the moment RH restricted trades all these other ones scrambled to get more employees to the new accounts division, and probably a little celebration also

part of me is tempted to part with my CCIV shares that I entered at 14.50, but there is still no confirmed news of them taking Lucid motors public. And right now I've got some time to gamble so I may ride it out even though I could sell abt 40% of shares and cover initial buy in. Sometimes you just want to gamble with it.

 

That dude somehow makes money outta thin air though. IDk how, but how else do you explain Tesla's price when delivery is always behind, new models delayed, etc.
