The first 20 years or so of their existence they had no serious competition. That has changed.

No snow in Mammoth from this storm. Just really windy.

Thursday Mammoth is gonna get another 8" or so. I really wish winter would just piss off already.

 

I've never understood why people live in places it snows when you can live in places it doesn't snow and travel to visit snow on occasion if desired.

 

I live in a place that doesn't snow. I work 40 miles away in a place that does. lol

 

It's been blowing a solid 30+ here for the last 3 days. Dumped rain this morning for an hour, tried to calm down, and then figured it would be more fun to rip my neighbor's fence apart and set his dogs free lol. We had to corral them around lunchtime and put them in our yard til they got home.

But yah, I'm kinda ready for some mild weather myself.

 

Because it's nice and cold in the winter.

I bit into this piece of wood that was in a prepackaged bag of coleslaw. It blended in with the cabbage and I didn't see it. I didn't get hurt but I called the customer service number on the bag, left a message and they called back very quickly. They seemed very concerned and wanted to make sure I was OK. I wound up getting a bunch of coupons for free stuff out of the deal. Worth calling them and having pictures of what you bit ready to email.

 

They give you free extra fiber and you scam them out of coupons? Man, this is what's wrong with America.


Seriously though, always good to report that stuff. They can trace the batch back to time of processing and make sure the line isn't all ganked up

 

Update on that: My happy ass goes back in for a crown on that tooth on the 28th. Jimmy Dean is costing me 1200 or so.
