If they can get that S+P down to 4150 I'ma have to do a partial lump buy-in.

the real reason for the lumber prices!

    money printer go brrrrrrrr

maybe we should all be investing in chainsaws since they will need more trees to print all this paper...the real reason for deforestation

Pack it up, market's over. We're back to where we were...March 15th of this year. 5 weeks ago. Or, if you want to know when we first crossed this price range, that'd be May of 2021, almost a year ago.

I would love it if they can get the S+P to 3400 or so. That's ~30% off ATH and my trigger to dump this entire HELOC into my accounts rather than DCA'ing over 30 months. 20% down from ATH I'm lumping in 50% and DCA'ing the rest. If we get 30% or more down from ATH, I'm lumping in the whole shit.

Honestly though, I bet there's a bigass psychological floor at 4000.

What a fun week. Monday is gonna be more of the same.

@jandrews posted about major psychological resistance for the S&P. I agree that 4K is a major barrier there. The S&P closed today only 6.3% above that mind floor.

That got me to thinking about mind floors for both the DOW and NASDAQ. For the DOW I'd say 30K is major psychological resistance. The DOW closed today 11.2% above the 30K mark.

The NASDAQ's next mind floor would be 10K. It closed today 22.1% above that. The NASDAQ has got a long way to fall if shit goes south. Which it will with rising interest rates. Whenever rates rise there's always been a shift out of tech. The only saving grace of this is I might be able to load NVDA at $150 again. lol

Yea, so, time drink I guess. May as well celebrate loosing money the best way I know how.

Makers mark old fashioned. Surprisingly cheaper than the buffalo trace. Had to choose the more economical choice…

Generally speaking, I always go mid-grade for mixers. You're covering it with other stuff anyway.

Save the hi-test for drinking straight.

Been really enjoying Monkey Shoulder scotch lately. For bourbon, Calumet Farm 8 year has had my attention lately.

Cheapest glass bottle for me. Weed out the plastic bottle junk, gin for long drinks is the cheapest glass bottle. Sales vary as well, so it varies what I use.
