    Here's something interesting I just found. Was looking at next weeks option chain gamma/delta's for BBIG. Today the MAY 6 $3 strike traded 111K times on an open interest of 6.4K. WTF?

    Basically any MBS that's not AAA/AA rated can't be used for collateral. Any listed stock that's under $5 can't be used for collateral. Any US stock listed at $5 or more will take a 50% collateral reduction. The DTCC is cracking down on leverage. That's gonna create margin calls.

    They sure did. This is their response. Protect the system not the player's. Taking something from 100% collateral down to 0% collateral is gonna cause some very red margin positions. The key question is will they enforce it.

    We'll see. It goes into play on Tuesday. I doubt the DTCC is gonna roll over on this. They want to protect themselves from incurring MASSIVE losses due to over-leveraged clients.
