SEC was notified of intention to split today after the 8-k form was filed. SEC regs require a 10 day notification period, so in 11 days we could have our ex-div date for the splividend.

Myself (and many others) assume that this will likely happen aside or before the launch of the GME marketplace. That has been promised before the end of Q2 (July 31st). Cohen and crew don't seem to be the type to make promises they can't deliver on, as everything they have done so far has been meticulous and by the book.

The additional 1b shares allows them to split up to 13:1. The leading consensus is it will likely be 7:1 (741). This puts the share price post split around $20. Note: These shares are paid out as a dividend to existing shareholders, there are no shares being issued to the market to dilute the float.

Assuming we ignore the possibility of a short squeeze all together, if GME pulls its business together and becomes a leader in its market segment, 1000 shares today nets you over $2m if the share price gets back to $300. Your case study for this would be Tesla.


Long story short, If you own shares now, and you trust the GME leadership, you're going to be greatly rewarded in the near future even if you don't believe in the squeeze possibility.

Post split, with a squeeze, even it's just a normal one, your 1000 shares (now 7000) makes you $21m if the price squazoozles to a paltry $3k a share.
