Line-up the wheels, 4 lo creep forward. hit the brakes when someone tells you or when you think you're close. Hope the reverse gear on your trans still works to get out. not too bad when done slowly and methodically.

So does climbing a ladder 3 stories and cleaning my gutters.
I prefer to pay the kid down the street.
He can handle the fall a little better than me.

    Ok that settles it.
You hear about "computer geeks", but this takes the cake. You guys are in a league of your own when it comes to this stuff.
1000X better than being a computer geek though.

I live in a one story house by choice. zero stairs is kind of an ideal lifestyle. If I had a 3 story house, it would have an elevator

Wise choice. Crutches don't limit you from getting to your bedroom or office with your entire computer workstation/gaming area.

It's not the first time. The crew I used to roll with offroad on here referred to me as Dr. Jan Drews.

This. It's a sweetheart flat ramp right up to that little posing spot. There is 0 challenge to get in that position, but it's a great photo op!

I had two large rubbermaid PowerPackers that went into my bed for every offroad trip. They contained all the tools, fluids, and parts necessary to repair the following in the field if needed:

    - CV Axles x2
    - Front Spindles x2 (they bend sometimes)
    - Driveshaft x1
    - Spare Tire x1
    - Inner and Outer Tie Rods x2
    - Rear Differential Ring Gear Extraction (You then reinstall the diff and drive the truck home in 4Hi, which effectively functions as front wheel drive)

The rest of my crew had pretty much the same. And that's of course not counting recovery straps, winch equipment, wench equipment, etc.

It might be ugly, but god dammit we were gonna get you home.

It's Fort Sumter? I just fired across the bow of Fort Kairo and his band of gme-men?
Whatever. It's a stock, just like any other stock.

Toyotas have such bitchy components on their drivetrains. On a jeep CJ7 you can fix any moving part with a high lift jack handle and a welding rod hooked up to a couple batteries.
