I'm guessing a lot of people here have never tried to play harmonica, but it doesn't take a lot of lung or endurance. You just need the right key and blow and suck at the proper times (I'm not gay I swear)

This is as tough as harmonica gets. The slurred notes are from bending, and that comes with practice, but honestly any idiot can teach themselves how to back up any rock band with a harp within a year.

 

@theesotericone One of the original fuck you songs. The network told Billy Joel he needed to have another single and it had to come in under 3 minutes to get on the radio, so he made this song as fuck you and it still hit the charts.

Funny story, about 6 months back the wife and I were scanning through the 17,000 streaming services we all have now, and I suggested Bohemian Rhapsody (the Bryan Singer biopic of Freddie Mercury) to the wife. I will note at this point she is 10 years my junior.

Her: "Who's Freddie Mercury?"
Me: "The lead singer of Queen."
Her: "Who's Queen?"
Me: "I'm sorry, I need a minute."

I excuse it only on account of her being born 3 years after Mercury's death and having an absolutely horrible ability to connect songs she knows with the artists who perform them. She swore up and down when we were still dating she didn't know who U2 was until I played like 6 consecutive songs she immediately recognized and just didn't realize were performed by U2.

 

I don't know how to tell you this, but you might have married an alien trying to infiltrate its way into our populace.

Probably some others... Seemed like they all "sold out" and got way over produced in the early to mid 90s. I was so disillusioned.

 

It's not a sell out lol. It's just a fun collab. There's many other musical transgressions to get upset about.

 

It's funny because we watched the movie and she immediately sang along with every hit word for word.

I just consider this a failure of her parents that we are rectifying now.
