Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

Done it more then a few times. One of the really memorable ones was an 8 pointer that dresses over 200lbs I shot when I was 17. It was windy, cold, raining then is started to dump snow. I got out of my stand and started hoofing it back to the truck. Then I see this deer. I tuck in behind an oak tree and he comes broadside at about 25 yards. He's fucking huge. One of my first thoughts was "Fuck. How's the 140 lb me going to pull that fucker over the hill and the 300 yards to the truck."

I take the shot and it hits about 6" further back then I wanted. He takes off up the hill. I wait 30 minutes. Find my arrow and it's a lung shot but there's not as much froth as I usually like to see. I start following the trail and with the snow it's easy. After about 200 yards the flow really opens up. Then I find the deer piled up against an oak about 80 yards later. Fucker dropped dead within 50 feet of my tailgate. lol

Im going to keep the one I have. Solo ice fishing is the life for me, I got everything I need in a single person flip over.

I got some free ribs today since my roommate moved in. and some Porkloin chops? from Costco. the pork was less than chicken breast. still seems weird to me. I couldn't tell you the last time I bought myself any kind of red meat that wasn't just ground beef lol. Shits expensive. @kairo go to montana or wherever it is you get elk. I'll do yardwork for you if you pay me in red meat
