They do a pretty good job and you can get them fitted, and I think it was about $350 for the pair and they're still holding up fine. Absolutely. They can drive, do a delivery then drive back and self recharge. Future of cars too. Drive to a place, hit a button and the car goes away. Parking can be 2 miles away - the car drives itself there and just gets into a spot. Spots can be half the size since nobody is getting in and out of the cars there. Induction chargers so it's charging as it is parked.

It's a ways away but I have ideas about the future of cars, commuting, parking, city planning, etc

Price controls + demand = shortages is Economics 101. That's why the wait list for low income/rent controlled housing is literally years and why half the doctors in the world won't accept Medicaid patients.

So official numbers might look nice because energy inflation cannot exceed "$x" on paper, but thats not much comfort if you simply have no fuels or energy at all.

I don't think it will happen here, quite frankly. Too many donors will not allow their pet politicians to support it. And that's a good thing.
