Last time I needed suits I waited for the buy one get one from Men's Warehouse. They do a pretty good job and you can get them fitted, and I think it was about $350 for the pair and they're still holding up fine. They're busy gathering dust in the closet right now, which is where I prefer them to be.

JC Penny's used to be like Kohls. Walk in and get something passable off the rack. Not no mo

10 of the 12 rail unions have already settled, been watching this for a few weeks. We discovered grocery delivery like everyone else in early COVID and my wife was hooked. I’m expecting these little guys to start delivering groceries too down the road:

My poor choice of words, more feeling of “showing up to play”. These are along the lines of “disruptive”.

I just have no need for suits so the few times I need them it's Walmart budget.

Absolutely. They can drive, do a delivery then drive back and self recharge. Future of cars too. Drive to a place, hit a button and the car goes away. Parking can be 2 miles away - the car drives itself there and just gets into a spot. Spots can be half the size since nobody is getting in and out of the cars there. Induction chargers so it's charging as it is parked.

It's a ways away but I have ideas about the future of cars, commuting, parking, city planning, etc

Sorry - yeah 2 are the engineers and someone else I can't remember. I don't know much about it I was reading about it today. I just figure everything is shit at this point, if they go on strike it's just like eating one extra hot wing. You're already getting fiery poops.

So looking like Europe will cap energy costs, USA looking at doing the same will guarantee Russia will not pipe any NG. Europe's inflation is already over 9%. What does this mean? IDK but it's not good.

Happy CPI day fuckers! Go ahead and fasten those seatbelts because we're going to be climbing aggressively today and the g-forces might get a little intense.

Price controls + demand = shortages is Economics 101. That's why the wait list for low income/rent controlled housing is literally years and why half the doctors in the world won't accept Medicaid patients.

So official numbers might look nice because energy inflation cannot exceed "$x" on paper, but thats not much comfort if you simply have no fuels or energy at all.

I don't think it will happen here, quite frankly. Too many donors will not allow their pet politicians to support it. And that's a good thing.

    No it's not.

The only thing I saw go down was fuel prices and a Blue Origin rocket.

8.3% headline, down from 8.5% last print.

Energy down, food + housing + healthcare up. MoM 0.1%, staying flat.

Go ahead and light them rockets.
