Having had to extract 1 member of our four man team from pitch 3 of the SE face of Pingora in the Cirque of the Towers after he broke his ankle on lead...this is 100% correct. That was a massive PITA even with 3 other people.

Yep. I've been on a few high angle rescues and it's not an easy task. I've also been part of a few body recoveries where the climber impacted the ground. Those are easy as long as you have the stomach for what a human body looks like after falling a few hundred feet.

BBIG just closed AH's at $1.01. 10.2K $1 calls just came ITM. Why the 15% AH's rise? Court case is settled. All parties reached an agreement. I'm reading the draft now. Collucci out, Jones out, Goldstein out, DiStasio out. Waiting for Monday is going to suck. lol

Ross Miller is sole CEO. A new board will be appointed soon I would think. Having Miller as CEO is awesome for now. He's a very smart, politically motivated guy. I'm guessing we get earnings, then merger. Once the merger happens I think Miller steps down as CEO and probably takes a Board seat. I'm 90% sure after merger Erik Finnman will be appointed CEO. King, Farnsworth, Noble Vaderbuilt all still in as far as I can tell.

I just now figured out this is reflective balloons. Initially I thought it was some kind of food product cut in half.

I'm gonna disagree with you on that one.

There's 0 question it's the most impressive rock climb and free solo in the history of the sport. No debate on that.

But just surviving the environment on dangerous alpine ascents gets a lot of credit, which is why I tip my hat so far toward Messner. The man disparaged supplemental oxygen and seige style mountaineering specifically to "give the mountain a fair chance". And then proceeded to climb all 8000'ers without supplemental oxygen. Doing that on just *one* particularly dangerous peak is proud enough. To do all of them is rarefied air. To be the first is a title for eternity. Annapurna had a ~30% fatality rate until very recently. 1 out of every 3 climbers that tried to go up there never came home. And that's with all the bells and whistles. Messner did it without oxygen AND FA'd a new route on the way up, lol.

So where I'm going with this: It depends how you define a 'climbing feat'. Honnold on Freerider is incredibly impressive, but well traveled rock routes don't avalanche. They don't topple seracs on you or have cornices break off sending you on a sudden 2000ft freefall. Ephemeral mediums like snow and ice really crank up the stakes.

I'd like to present the former Nevada State Controller and new CEO of BBIG. Ross Miller.

Hi all, thought I stop by and see how ya'll were holding up amid the turmoil. Read some of the comments from the last time I was around.

I don't think "mock" is really the right word. That would imply, I was "mocking" him. I'm not about that. As i specifically wrote, I wasn't throwing it in his face. I was merely pointing out that regardless of what this company might or might not do in the future, in a market such as this, there tends to be a "show me the money" attitude towards the high flying stocks that are priced on hope and not the actual numbers. Rotation into more proven track records tends to occur.

That one took me a second: I'm like "huh"?
    Ok, I got it lol.

That last post worked out. We had about an 900 point rally on the Naz before it fell, and the meme stocks didn't really enjoy the rally.
Now we're near the June lows. I don't think we've reached the proverbial capitulation level yet, but there is quite a bit of negativity in the air right now.
It's a traders dream market really, but remember to trade what you see and not what you feel. Intraday at least. Depends on your timeframe.

It's too soon to take a stab at where I think we'll close Q4 at. This week should provide some clues, but the real week to watch will be the first week in October. Don't get too bearish though, a lot of what we saw last week was re-balancing, and we'll get more this week too.

I'll swing by and share if I see anything that points to a sustained move in one direction or the other.
As always, keep the trade size small, especially now.

I need BBIG to fly soon. On top of putting those funds into in incredibly cheap NVDA I just talked to my neighbor who is wanting to sell his 91 FJ80. I want that rig.

Oh sure. Just mention that to BBIG and I’m sure they’ll jump to action. They’ve been waiting for someone who wants the share price to climb from the dumpster :D
