LMAO. I really like what I do now. The pay is also much better so I'm not to bummed I didn't get it. The main reasons I applied where for the PTO and the fact it is much easier physically.

    Sorry to hear.

Salary isn't everything. When I got my new job, they were a bit shy on my minimum on salary. BUT they bumped it to an extra week PTO, which if you factor that in, was at my minimum.

I had gotten another offer for 20k more, but it was a 45 minute commute each way (verses right now is 1.5 miles, it takes me 8 minutes on a bicycle), in gridlock traffic (so not even an enjoyable ride for that length of time). They asked me what they could do to make it work, I said work from home 100% of the time. The said no dice. HR was cool, I told her I didn't expect her to say yes, but that's the only way it would work.

    They scouted me so :notsure:

Plus, my new gig I got out of QA engineering. So, there's that.

Good... too much of a distraction from GTii, I need the focus back so my $6.50, $7.50, and $10 sells hit.

Well thats a good way to look at it and see the brighter side of things. My office job is easier physically but when I get out and am putting up buildings I get paid way better but after a few days I am ready for my desk job again. Luckily I only do it on the weekends so get to sit my ass down through the week. Move to AZ and I will give you a office gig.
