I would prefer a quick run up this morning first, so I can dump the $1 calls I have

Yeah, bought them last week and forgot about them, probably should have just sold and broken even on the run up yesterday.

They get it down to $0.75 and I'll double down again.

maybe... at the current price, its like a $5 difference in exercising vs. selling them now and buying 700 at market

Same! Work hand me downs, I think I'm actually on a 7, but only because the 5 went to my wife, she wanted to try a smaller phone.

My work phone is the 12. Shenanigans, if I had started and told my boss I would have gotten an 8 I THINK, which has the fingerprint instead of the stupid face lock shenanigans.

PS @TreeFortRichard - congrats on the stuff!

$BBIG and $BCLI doing their thing. Me gusta. Go down, don't hit the strikes :spy:

Glad I didn't get into $BBBY when I asked the other day, down about 1$ per share from when I asked. Might have to take a look at $MESO again though, they seem to be climbing again.

    it really is fucking annoying...
Currently, the economy is still healthy and everyone is employed being productive

BAD! Stop that shit! Better ruin it!

But also, other times when the economy is healthy and everyone is employed being productive, stock go up!

Isnt the problem people spending money on lots of stupid shit, not necessarly people having jobs? So if inflation ran its course until people stopped buying too much shit, or supply caught up and prices stabilized wouldn't that correct it?

I realize inflation is the worst thing for the lower class of the economy...but isnt not having a job worse lol? And i would assume as jobs start to take they will be the first round to go?

I love WSB lol, this one got me to spit out my milk

Perfect storm of a lot of factors.

LFPR and Prime Age LFPR are near the lowest ever. People not producing still consume. That's part of it.
We have a massive bloc of retirees, the biggest in the history of the nation, with the Boomers exiting the workforce. They still consume. That's part of it.
Government Entitlement spending is near all time highs. More consumption without commensurate production.
A recent presidential administration put many tarriffs into place. That's part of it.
A recent presidential administration has had policy hostile to energy production. That's part of it.
COVID jacked up shipping and logistics worldwide and those ripples are still in the pond. That's part of it.

    Etc.

And yes - it's going to be the worst for bottom rungs of the socio-economic scale.
