I can vouch for a Ravelli RV100 classic pellet stove. It’s a beautiful beast

I want to have wood that will do it's thing without any electricity, and I can go out to the woods and find fuel for free. Or find free on Facebook. That's how a lot of my firewood came to be.

I guess i can see how it'd be fun for a short time. I like it but it's definitely more of stockholm syndrome at this point

Somehow in 2022 unconcernedly losing large amounts of money on stupid derivative risk for internet lulz has become the meta flex.

How many sociologists called that one 20 years ago?

I did this for many years....burning 6-10 cords of wood PER season. Stove is our PRIMARY heat in the house as the alternative is electric baseboard.

So after hauling and burning about 120 cords of wood...
We went to pellets. The stove uses the electricity of an 80W light bulb once it's lit...I have a UPS battery backup power conditioner that I can run it off a generator but runs off the battery for about 2hrs...
That reminds me the battery needs replacement...

That's what my folks do. Pellet stove. Cranks out some serious heat downstairs. They get their pellets for fall/winter skidded up on a pallet and they're good to go.

Growing up we had wood fireplace, so yours truly was very adept at cutting, splitting, and hauling firewood from a young age.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I have enjoyed both worlds as well as coal. Get a roaring fire with some nice seasoned hardwood the load the bitch up with nut coal. Burns all night. Just take the fire bricks out and you've doubled you loading capaicty. Don't worry, it's supposed to be cherry. That means it's burning hot.

LMFAO. BBIG $1 calls for tomorrow have a gamma of 5.5. This stock breaks new records at least once a week. Holy fuck, that's insane.

Musk under federal investigation for twitter shenanigans.

I know there's no justice in the world when it comes to the ruling class, but it would tickle me quite so to watch him lose $44b and not even end up with twitter.

6.7. That's the gamma on BBIG $1 calls for today. I'm impressed.
