    Update:
Had to sell the wheels off my Tacoma due to my loss on Meta stock. She’s sitting on blocks now down my the river where I’m having to live out of it.
Jim Cramer had me convinced the Metaverse was the future, and we would all be sitting in a chair living in a virtual world dating virtual babes and eating virtual food at fancy virtual restaurants. Dammit Jim you were wrong again.

I don't understand why people think that an augmented reality is the future? Is this Third Life?

I was 11. Doesn't change the fact that people thought the internet was a nothing burger. Metaverse, or web3, is much the same. It's gonna be a nothing burger until it's not.

'tis true. The blockchain has been under attack for years now by a massive smear campaign beleaguering the monkey jpegs. "Why would I ever want an NFT? I can just right click and GeT yOuR nFt"

Yep. Same thing door to door encyclopedia salesmen said about the internet.

You could argue, and I will, that the internet as we now know it was the biggest tech achievement ever. Web3 is just an extension of that. A huge extension. Akin to going from bows and arrows to guns.

Kinda why I'm heavily invested in a company that's positioning itself to be at the forefront of the bows to guns revolution

The looking glass is still more popular than social media. Social media being the most popular thing on the internet.
