It's impressive that even THAT event mid day today was like a 7% Vix movement...they really keep the volatility in check...Well done algos...

 

There's a whole pile of DD from early on in this adventure that shows how VIX is pretty easily manipulated as necessary. I don't have it on hand, but I think the trust me bro is obvious in the chart.

 

It started here a few hours ago. Looking like it wants to taper off. We'll see. Original projection was less than 1" and there's probably 6" on my back patio. Weathermen should become stock analysts

not closing anything yet, letting it run. unrealized p/l $3.2k on an overnight hold.

 

i want to see how price action reacts at 378.2, if it breaks cleanly to the downside i'm letting the entire position run. if there's not a decisive break am taking off half of $SPY contracts and will add it back if we see 383.78 again. this way i'm locking profits and mitigate risk.
