1st Gen Tundra? Probably a little cheaper plus a indestructible V8 and basically the same size as 2nd Gen Tacoma

Funny enough I was just looking at an ad for a 2001 Tundra that my local dealer just got in. Only 200K and the 4.7 is beyond bomber.

You got me thinking. I do like the aspect of trading though, I find it oddly relaxing and enjoyable. Perhaps I’ll do both…

I follow Lade as well, basically other dudes got busted by having an “insider” record their voice chat where they were blatantly talking about buying in, pumping it on Twitter, then selling into the surge created by their followers.

Admittedly, I got bagged as fuck on CEI. This is from quite a while ago before I knew anything at all about trading, couldn’t even read a chart. I’m so bagged it’s not even worth selling. Now the price dropped to like .06 with a R/S on the horizon, hoping it pumps before then so I can get out. Otherwise I’ll just hold it for years until they’re delisted or it does something.

That, and MMTLP (TRCH dividend) are my last two holds from my “no idea what I’m doing” stage.

Those engines are great. My brother has a 05…06? The last one before the new body style. He hasn’t had many problems with it. The only thing he’s had problems with was the 02 sensor and timing belt.

I get a little jealous every time he cranks it up because he has a flowmaster and it sounds so goddamn good on those trucks

Things aging and going wrong happens no matter what. Not expecting O2 sensors or something small to go bust within 250k miles is irresponsible.

I do both. I have my boring stonks in VTI but then have a "monopoly" account where I do responsible things but have some fun with it. As in it's not in VTI but it's not all in ornamental gourd futures. That's about 3-5% of my portfolio for my bridge account, overall it's less than 1% of my total financial portfolio.

I plan on stopping my Monday to look at it in person. They don't have a photo of it listed since they just got it in. They do have Jade Mica listed as the color though. I could make that work. lol

That’s one of the better colors for that generation. It’s a nice shade of green. Better than the white or black which are bland AF on that truck. Did you sell the 4Runner then? I forget.

Yep. 4Runner was sold to a member on this site. He's since fixed the coil bucket and continues to wheel the shit out of it. I miss that rig.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
06 was the last. My 05 has almost 300k. I'm on my third radiator. The first started leaking at the top sael. The second one developed a pin hole in the tranny fitting and drained it for me.

If you can keep the cancer off the frame they will run for ever. I change the oil once a year using Mobil 1 regardless of milage. It sat for 3 years after the tranny episode. Fired right up with a jump

Cali truck it's whole life according to the carfax so I'm pretty confident there will be no rust. Zero, nada, not even surface rust. Read that and envy me. lol

I always feel bad for the salt land folks with 5th gen 4Runners and 3rd gen Tacos with like actual rust and my 4th gen 4Runner here in NM has a literally perfect frame. I’m always thankful when I work on it.

I used to live back east. I spent all of my 20's wrenching on vehicles with Jersey rust. Since moving to Cali I have yet to need a 6ft breaker bar or oxy/acetylene. I'm never moving back. lol

I love to look at it but keeping it clean :puke:

My problem with dark shades and blacks is that I know how to detail them and get them looking nice and slick. And it's not a quick process. But they look so good when done. I'd spend WAY too much time cleaning my truck

    ...That's why mine is white.
