Yes, this is nitpicky, but, yahoo shows different significant digits (from what I can tell, at random, I'm sure there's a method to the madness). This is my watch list, but I scroll down and most things are out to the .XX digits. Then some things out to the (what I call tenths) 10-thou digits. And they're not aligned to the decimal point, so I scroll down and think "WOW SOMETHING'S KICKING OFF....nope it's just BBBY and yahoo's f'ing with me again"

Lookin at it now i just chose WAL out of the two. Both are a double your money from where they're at now if they recover completely, but PACW has already had a good run for the day. If i was lookin at them at open this morning i'd have said the opposite

This is just going by the charts tho. Hell silicon valley had good ratings till the last minute. Hard to judge how strong they really are

the thing that matters is the balance sheets. management was not as stupid as the SVIB management.

 

There is some technical math % money thing with stocks that it takes more "whatever that mathematical thingy is" to return a stock to where it was after a big drop...So a full recovery isn't 100% return to previous price...a full recovery is like 60% return...
I heard it explained on a some show I was listening to and it made sense...It has to do with the value of the dollars used to create that share value having more worth than the dollars today being used to create the share value...specifically with financial based assets...

 

I'm having an absolutely shitty day, but watching the AMC "apes" get cucked again and again by aadam a aaronson silverback extraordinaire always brings my mood up slightly
