Our purchased used 2003 (lease returned 2006) Pathfinder was worn out. We owned for 14 reliable years. Got our money’s worth out of that SUV. Was looking to replace it for a few years. Our cabin is 5.5 hours away so we needed something for our family of 4 to get through the mountains reliably and a daily driver for me. Wanted a good used Tacoma but the prices were insane like so many other folks have found. Full MRSP @ 1.9% for 72 months instead of paying cash. No regrets.

 

At 1.9% there's zero regret. My wife wanted to buy the thing with cash and I quickly put a stop to that. Total interest over the life of the loan was $800 bucks. We'll have it payed off this year so realized total interest will be about $350. lol

That was an awesome side gig musically. It was supposed to be a positive influence for Layne with sober recovering addicts. That Mad Season album is still one of my all time favourites. Layne’s voice was golden throughout his career. Still gives me goosebumps. Anyhow, was a horrible way for Layne to go in that shitty condo playing video games all day and slowly dying.
