Had a coworker that was obsessed with NVDA and gobbled up a ton of shares back around 2017, like $30-ish a pop IIRC. Pretty sure he's going to retire early now.

 

And yet they say 2 more are coming. Why not just do it now you pansies

 

My vegas intuition fund payed off nicely (knightly) on 6/13/23 ...it would of been even nicer if I alotted a greater financial stake but was conservative in my speculative position. At any rate ..congrats Las Vegas and thanks for the +1500 rate I received on investment.

Someone made MILLIONS off $SPCE calls...the $5 6/16 were $1...and are going to be $78 in the money tomorrow... 78x 2,200 contracts...

 

This comment I saw earlier on the sales subreddit about all the layoffs in the tech sector right now:


The problem is not getting PIPed between now and then, leaders don’t want to lower their revenue targets because that’s definitely going to come into account for their PE multiplier when sell times come.

Problem is, they’re just fucking everyone.

They’ll miss their forecasts which looks worse than just hitting a lower target, commit mass layoffs and firings even for mid performers who are still on a profit on the line, and then private equity will come in and buy at a much lower price than the founders anticipated.

They’ve been doing it to America for decades.

Recessions are absolutely great for Wall Street, it’s how they raise their assets, they LOVE boom and bust

 

Probably just a random retail investor. I can't imagine there was any inside knowledge for a deal like that.
