Transferred all my holding from robinhood to fidelity. Not realizing hood had a $124 transfer fee

 

I think that's why the trick is to leave $1 in da hood...
If you don't close the account, no fee...

No I never actually act on my calls. And then when they hit I’m upset. I’ve been in here saying “NVDA only goes up” since it was sub $300

Now, maybe it's just me, but I'd PROBABLY go directly to Fidelity on their website or phone centers, instead of a reddit message....

 

No, you just print out the Reddit thread, and send it to Fidelity with certified mail.

 

I lost over six grand in 2023 chasing Nvidia. It had a long slow period Where didn't go anywhere and so calls just kept getting eaten up by decay. When I ran out of gambling powder , it started running again. Good job stock market.

up until June. I was making money and then June to October I gave it all back. And then in October it started going gangbusters

I tried Investing.com - was able to import the transactions for my long term holds pretty easily.

In terms of a not-Yahoo option, for long term holds, I think I like Morningstar better than Investing.com

I like this a lot better than Investing.com's approach.



I'm not sure about researching on Morningstar, I'm sure it's good, I just don't do it.
