Regardless, the question to ask yourself is: If I had 9650$ today in cash, would I BUY $MULN? If the answer is NO, then SELL. If the answer is YES, then HODL.

If the amount is less, as in you have 1 share at 4.78, then I don't think it really much matters

Me not so much. I'm ready to give up on stocks and just invest in ETF . I remember another member did the same.

 

that's the way to go, buy and hold etf's. trading is hard. if it was easy everyone will be doing it.

 

I was buying VTI for a long time, but then when I moved to Fidelity when Schwab took over TD Ameritrade, I started dumping into FSKAX instead. Same idea, just an MF instead of an ETF. FSKAX is .015% ER, vs VTI .03% and VTSAX .04%, so I went with FSKAX. FZROX is 0%, but FSKAX holds about 1000-1500 more securities. My HSA is in FZROX, my Roth IRA is in FSKAX, my rollover IRA (Move 401ks when you depart companies there) is 95/5 FXAIX and FZROX. So, really, no real sense of organization of which fund I use between SP500 and two total market funds

 

$VTI is good, look at $VOO too

 

Yes, VTI is the total market fund, VOO is the SP500 fund.
In Fidelity MF terms, this is FSKAX (total market) and FXAIX (SP500).
In Vanguard MF terms this is VTSAX (total market) and VFAIX (SP500).

Total market is like SP500 fund with some extra guacamole on it. These total market funds are something like 80% SP500 funds.

Going back to 2012 (where the data is available to, FSKAX inception date was Oct 2011), this is the growth of 10k initial investment - for all intents and purposes, the same.

Futures market doing some completely organic movement

 

I think it might be a good time to invest in cannabis companies. Cannabis is being descheduled from class 1 to class 3. The cannabis companies will no longer have to pay taxes on a 100 % of their profits. Now they will be able to write off expenses. The ceo of cresco says they will be saving 70 to 80 million in taxes.

 

Needed to get in on that before yesterday....they all went up massively yesterday...
