why doesn’t RC force some sort of collab or event between them and NVDA and force GME to run with them
Or vice versa

I feel like if you suddenly made NVDA volatile with GME
Important people would finally take issue with the problems

I love that it's 2024 and $GME is the first thing I see in this thread since I've been busy off of TW for a while haha

(I bought more at $10 but as a new dad I didn't want to babysit calls)

It's a distraction from where the real money is invested....the returns on investment. A 10% dividend is interesting. You can never go wrong with a guaranteed chunk of an investment return.

I looking for a little advice. Smart on the interweb I know!
I have a 401K with a previous employer. I was there for over 20 years and maxed my contributions out many of those years. The 401K management firm says I can leave it there as long as I want. Or roll it over into an IRA with them with the same or different holdings.
It's all in 1 mutual fund. Large Cap growth (heavily Nasdaq), 32 years since inception. With 17% + returns over the past 10 years, 0.69% expense ratio.
I have enrolled in my new employers 401K plan. Their best offering is a Vanguard Large Cap returning about 15% over 10 years. So I'm not to excited about rolling it over into my new 401K.

I have been talking with a CFP with Edward Jones. Thoughts on Edward Jones?

You can roll it into any IRA you like. Does NOT have to be with the 401k custodian.

Don't care for Edward Jones. Find an hourly financial planner advisor who has a fiduciary clause in contract.

 

I've been buckled for 4 years. It's starting to chafe.

 

I use Edelman Financial services for my responsible money. No ragerts. You set up a Schwab account and they do your trades and whatnot for you based on your goals and risk tolerance.

In reality, just dumping it all into SPY has been the best choice for the last 100 some years.
