I would read up on Fidelities penalties for the Good Faith Violation. Many brokerages allow 3-4 violations within a 12 month period before action is taken (usually locking you out of the account for 90 days).

Id say if you dont plan on doing this on a regular basis and this move has good potential then bite the bullet and do it. This is my opinion only

Most the stocks I have are long term stocks. Not ones I'm going to buy and sell in the same day. Probably be the only time I'll do it In the next 5 years. (Your advise isn't taken seriously but thank you for your advise).

    Great!

Wish I knew a little more about options and calls and how to buy and sell them properly instead of just how they work. I don't know enough about them at the moment to play it the correct way, that I would like to, therefor I would probably screw it up taking a risk i don't know much about how to play it correctly. Don't want to make a risk that I have very little knowledge of how to use it but seems that it's where most of the money is had.

As someone with MANY calls in hand...this is a TERRIBLE time to own calls coming into this week, but a great time to buy long calls...
I am bleeding red on calls that are going to expire worthless...
    I'd like $GME to help a fella out ;)

I don't touch calls for the reason that I'm in the process of establishing a portfolio. I'd rather make small gains than most likely lose with the chance for huge gains. Even though the past 4 days have not been small gain type of days lol.

With stuff like GME they’re the way to go IMO.... im up 4,500% on my call and down -10% on my shares lol. If you can get a cheap call it’s like a lotto ticket but things get real interesting if it takes off. Lose $55 or potential for +10k gains in a day? I’ll take that ride.

Of course it’s smart to build a portfolio but it’s fun playing with lower cost options that you can’t lose your ass on.

Yeah I'd take a $55 chance for 10K. Just don't understand what's the educated ones to ride and look at just yet.

Well just think of companies you think are down but going to do well in the future. Then think about how long in the future you think they’re going to do well. If it’s far out the call will most likely be more expensive, if you think they’re going to do well fast and it’s stagnant it will be cheaper. I don’t buy calls over $1.00 cause they’re inherently risky and you never know, I’m ok with losing less than 100 occasionally. I mean just took my girl to lunch and it was freaking $65 for nothing fancy...
Not financial advise, just my opinion. When I have a hunch or like a stock I’ll just throw a little $$ on a call. Personally I don’t like playing puts cause I think its bad juju betting on a company to fail, but maybe one day I’ll play them.

“$GME previous behaviour is IDENTICAL to what is going on now.

Just a friendly reminder that GME did dip because of the same flooding of shorted borrowed stocks.
