i had the same issue with them. I tried again and it worked. Getting the accounts linked up was a pain in the ass at first. I think they’re so busy with new accounts.

I’ve made a few purchases and only saw one fee so far (2.95) when I added to my $ADA

Hire a guy. I have a mortgage, a rental, and 4 brokerage accounts. I pay the dude $300 and send him the mountain of paperwork and let him deal with it.

Yea I had pretty good capital gains in 2020 but the GME losses happened in 2021. So no deductions for me lol

 

I had a boss years ago who was doing ok for himself. His tax guy would ask him every year, "how close do you want to stand to the edge of the cliff this year?" Not saying they were doing anything illegal, far from it. But competent tax professionals can help make the system work for you in ways that you just can't do with turbotax. The book of tax law would sink barge if you put it on the deck. I don't have time to learn all that shit. A few hundred bucks is money well spent. And any errors or audits go back to your accountant first.

 

Good way to put it. I’ve got dependents now (no tax pun intended) so it would probably be a good idea to move away from TurboTax.
