Did you guys hear about the Buzz ETF that Portnoys getting started. Seems like a half meme/half legit thing. I understand theres a slight meme to it but it also makes sense to me that it will be successful based off the algorithm.

My neighbor who has been day trading since the 90’s and has done WELL (has a 1 mill house, a porsche GT3, Jeep Trackhawk, etc mostly off trading) is telling me that just another small cycle and the shorts will cover eventually with 1-2 more days of momentum then a crash. He is wildly intelligent but I am gonna chalk it up as this never happening before and him not being able to recognize it cause it’s unheard of. We’ll see.

 

Sounds like he might have a short type investment on it ... good luck with that.

I did it on the first run-up. All you have to do is be in the right place at the right time. And get lucky as all shit.

They are waaaay too expensive right now IMO. Aint worth the risk for me. Kairo got in extremely early. The time to buy them was when it was stagnant at $40 when they were cheap. My strategy has been buy way out of the money options (like 800 calls) and flip them for a quick 500-1000 every few days. They’re cheap so I only have to risk about $100 rather than the thousands in the money options are.

Yes they are way too expensive right now. You’re going to have to lay out $8,000 to $10,000 Right now to get any worthwhile call options. You’re better off just buying straight shares. You can unload shares pre-and post market as well you cannot sell options at that time. Also it’s presently very difficult to exercise a call option. TD Ameritrade requires you to call an agent to exercise and in the money $GME option.

That’s probably going to cost you close to $2000 from the market opens today. I was interested in maybe the $300 calls yesterday, but I wasn’t going to buy anything that expires in March I wanted at least some thing for April. Now you’re looking at $3-$4000 for anything attractively priced and likely to remain in the money for several days now. I made the determination that I was better off just buying shares yesterday and bought 10 shares at $240 instead of one call at $2400 that’s way out of the money. The highest priced call option I bought last time was the $110 calls. I paid almost $4000 each for those. The cheapest I had was the $40 calls for 700 bucks that expire 3/19. I sold one of those for $22,000 if I had held it till now it would’ve been worth more than even when I sold it last time isn’t that crazy.

 

I see $RBLX on Webull and Morgan Stanley, but not RH. Hopefully it’s added before market open
