    In penny news, I closed out about half of my SANP on a spike yesterday at break even and switched it over to ICBU... so far very pleased with that result, ICBU up 60% this morning

    I call it an interest free 6 week loan...You'd be amazed at the big purchases I buy the DAY after my statement closes...Like $800 worth of tires for my truck...
    Statement starts the 6th...Bought the 8th of March, Cycle closes 7th of April, Payment is due May 1st...$756 interest free loan for 7+ weeks...And I never carry a balance...I'm a frugal SOB...

    Congratulations! We are debt free other than a mortgage. It’s a good feeling. We will be buying a new “family” car this year though but I’m planning on using gains from the market for that :fingerscrossed:

    Sweet man. Being debt free is rad. You'll have to continually work on it to stay that way but it's easy enough to do with this simple plan.

    Don't buy shit you can't afford. lol


    In other news, Wells Fargo is currently down for me. Yep. My bank is down the day new stimulus money is supposed to hit the accounts. I wonder if it's China or Russia siphoning that money away? There's no way it's a "coincidence".

    31 and completely debt free with a decent savings in the bank, 401, and Roth here. I have the mentality that if it's in my savings, i don't touch it. I'll be sitting on a lump in my savings and when my checking goes down i tell myself i can't afford it. Has worked for me over the last few years for sure.

    Same for us. I’m 32, wife 33. Was talking to my financial advisor yesterday and she was baffled by how much we had saved and our IRA/Roth monies. I don’t think it’s common for people our age to save and plan for the future lol
