That's not the close. That's retail close. It's already pushed under $200 after hours. Which is where it will stay for options settlement tomorrow AM. If it's over $200 at 5PM AH I'll be stunned.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but options don't trade after hours. So end of day close price sets the option price. Aftermarket movement has no effect on a contract that is no longer trading.

Your wrong and I've been over this multiple times in the last month. lol

Options don't trade pre or post market but the underlying security does. Options settlement is Saturday very early AM. So, if the underlying goes above or below the strike AH the option will be either ITM or OTM. AH most certainly has a huge effect on the options chain. That's why I said yestrerday that most heavy trading on triple or quad witching days occurs AH. lol vvvvvvvvvvvvvv

yea, you gotta be careful if you're close to being ITM (if you've wrote an option) at end of day, particularly at expiration...cause if it moves against, you could very well be assigned.

What's really gonna crack me up is when it finishes AH at exactly $200.00. OTM at the $200 strike. lol

I took the time to look it up. You're right. Guess we'll see if they keep it over $200 AH

I get that a lot. I won't post something as fact unless I'm positive I'm correct. If I'm posting a guess I'll always phrase it with "My guess is". Keeps me honest and prevents me from looking like a tool. lol

I've been trading options for like 4 months. It took me longer than that to learn to tie my shoes...

I'm a high end residential home builder. OSHA has never been on any of my job sites. This happens at least once a year in Mammoth:

OSHA comes into town at 7:30 am.
Someone sees the OSHA guys driving around.
That someone calls a few other contractors to give them the heads up.
Those contractors call all their buddies to let them know OSHA's in town.
Within 15 minutes every crew in Mammoth knows OSHA is in town.
Within 30 minutes all tools are put away.
Within 45 minutes the job sites are locked and secured for the day,
Within an hour everyone is either fishing, climbing or skiing.

I'm not kidding. It happens like that every time. lol
