Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

Things started going downhill when they got rid of B-movies and started charging full prices for them. It allowed the industry to bloat/evolve into more than it should have been allowed. I think they should devolve a little.

I enjoy that they have some deep pockets nipping at their heels.
HBO been making heady cinema level stuff for a couple decades now, but they lacked the big budget stuff for a long time.
Netflix, Disney, etc has been good for us as consumers, because Hollywood needed some big competition.

 

I used to like going to a local place that did reruns on wednesdays for like $2. At that price I didn’t mind buying the popcorn and candy lol

 

Oh also, the theater/brewery places are awesome. Well not really brewery but bar. The place in Santa Fe has like 20 taps with tons of local brews. Food ain’t bad either. Show up an hour before your show, couple drinks while you wait for food, then food and a beer in the movie. Chairs have little fold out tables. Best idea ever.

 

They have that here, or at least did before the pandemic. It was actually all the theater played. It was “recent” releases but they were already out for rental but it was only $2.25 for the ticket. They would play commercials and ads for about 10min before the movie, instead of trailers for other movies. It also wasn’t stadium seating and the floors were extra sticky. Good vibes

 

They just put one of those in around here about 2 years ago. I didn’t love it the one time we’ve been. Having the waiters come in and out delivering food and drinks up and down the aisles was distracting from the movie

 

That sounds like it beats getting hammered in the parking lot with your friends before the movie. The real question though, how much is an alcoholic drink at the theater gonna be?!? It's already like $10 for a popcorn...

To those of you on RH, Fidelity and RH completed my ACAT exactly how I wanted in 3 days. I'm not sure why my options were ever involved, because my options still live on RH as I was just approved for at least lvl 2 options trading on 3/20. Anyways I'm STOKED to be mostly out of RH.

The Fidelity UI is actually better than I thought after spending loads of time on it this weekend.

I wish the ACAT transferred my data though. I was at an avg of 102.53 or something. Now I have to average it all out manually

 

Make sure you check your account on Fidelity. From what I understand any transfers from RH are “margin” instead of “cash”
