Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

Just sold everything at $122.70 after hours...

Made $8.95 on the share I bought at $113.75....Took a loss on everything else...but I got that $9....

 

And I’d sell 1/3 of my shares if it were up enough for that to cover total cost

 

I'll buy back at $150 next week...

 

350 wasn’t the moon. Just a stop along the way. And I don’t think that’s how shorts work. No one is selling. So they just continue to short. When it moons, you will know it. You’ll be one of the many that say things like “can’t believe how lucky some people are” or “if I had known I would’ve bought a share” I’m done being that guy. I’ll toss you a moon rock though so you’ll always remember what could’ve been...

 

You can get a few jars of green olives for that!

I believe, and I've always had this belief, that everybody -- everybody gets a couple shots to really make it in life. The only thing you have to do is pay attention, ask intelligent questions, and be ready when that opportunity comes around. In the mean time, while you're waiting, you do the sensible things like go to school, get a job, save some money, etc. That way, when one day something falls out of the blue you're educated enough and capitalized enough to take advantage of it.

I missed the '09 recovery because I wasn't smart enough yet and wasn't paying enough attention (I was also still pretty young)

GME is one of those opportunities.

 

I bought another weekly on the off chance that GME would use the ER for any announcements. It’s worth $1 now lol

that’s how much I lost from peak to now Safe to say I’m not over 100% in gains anymore lol

AH took it down $117 so I’m thinking it might go sub $100 this week with the standard morning shorts

 

that was my thought this time last year when the market was down from covid. I just didn’t put enough in to really capitalize on how right I was

 

Transferred $1,300 into my new Fidelity today. It says it’s supposed to clear tomorrow already even though it had said “up to 3 business days.” I’m happy to be able to get some GME on sale and outside of RH. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

 

That’s exactly how I feel about this. I missed my opportunity to get into BTC in high school. Missed my opportunity to get into Tesla a few years ago, when I set a reminder to buy and legit forgot.

Now I’m 28 and a bit wiser and more established and can afford to go in on $GME with play money so if it doesn’t turn out it’s NBD.

Also $GME is up 5.8% already!

 

I have a harddrive with 8 full coins on it lost in a landfill somewhere in WA state

 

that’s gotta hurt. Hopefully GME can make up for that.

 

That’s as bad as the guy who doesn’t know his password and only has 1 more attempt before he’s locked out forever

 

eh, it was years and years ago. I didn't understand what it was then, so I don't really miss it. Was just the cool thing to do at the time.

 

That reminds me of the time I visited the Griffith Observatory...We were on a hike and tour where they teach you about a whole bunch of stuff and the woman guide told our group "Oh and be sure and ask to see the meteor at the downstairs desk...."

So later we're walking around and I see the desk and I remembered that and said "Hello, is there like a meteor here I can see?" and they have a meteor rock you can hold and touch and what not and it's SO dense...

anyway...I'd like to get my moon rock now.
