The MJ (comanche) was a unibody like the XJ. What they should have done was build the gladiator and made it into something that people actually wanted, and not just tried to go after the boring midsize pickup truck market.

I bet if Toyota put out an access cab shortbed tacoma with a solid front axle and two lockers with a small displacement turbo, they'd never be able to build them fast enough.

Everybody wants a small pickup live axle wheeling rig, and nobody makes them.

Oh, believe me, I will. If one ever rolls off the assembly line with those specs being true in the real world...

And I say that as someone who used to have a contractor's badge to the gigafactory. And as someone who got to see the Tesla semi trucks before they were unveiled to the public.

When they produce it, I'll believe it lol

You're more likely to end up dictator of the world before tesla rolls out a retail version of that truck with those specifications. 10+ years before we see that cybertruck with those specs.

Ehhhh. It's already on preorder, says about 1 yr, and they've already rolled out fully automated driving software. I saw some video of it where some people were trying to bash it, but watching the 10 minutes driving through Oakland it looked 99% better than any drivers here in Denver.

If GME moons can we subsidize a self-driving Tesla for every resident of St Louis? I don't live there, but having driven there for about a week... those people need Jesus.

Not sure if everyone there subscribes to determinism or what but they drive like there is literally no consequence, it's unnerving.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
GM. Every generation of Ferd diesel after the mighty 7.3L has had a design flaw that Furd won't fix until the next generation comes out.

Proud owner of a 2006 F350 6.0L Powerstroke. It will cost me 40 to 50 GME coins to bullet proof the motor in the future; new head gaskets, head bolts, and aftermarket EGR (or delete or not...)

I'll vote for the Ford. I've heard good things about the reliability of the current engine. Could this be the "next engine" that fixed the previous version flaws?

I honestly like both platforms myself, especially if they have nut chillers.

If you see real upside and researched it, go for it. There are so many options for where to invest money, so at first glance I’m not sure why that would be one to focus in on.
