Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

Anything about anything that starts with "why do you think" or "I don't think it" is fear, uncertainty, and doubt. And that's not bad, but saying, "I don't think XYZ is going to happen because I feel like so and so did such and such" isn't a super strong argument.

I would absolutely love one of you to present a well sourced and argued case against the GME situation.

I only asked what makes us think it will blast to 100,000 a share this time after being sent back down shy of 500 so far. I’m basing it off of history up to this point, not Reddit enthusiasts saying 100k isn’t a meme. That’s all. Nobody has shown why they’ll let it run eventually

 

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I don't disagree with any of the fundamentals pointing to a short squeeze.

But when you're fighting against people who make the markets you're fighting in, and have repeatedly broken the law to benefit themselves, been fined for doing so, and then continue to break the law again and again anyways, it's not hard to believe that they would do the same thing now. Expecting them to play fair is naive, and hoping some regulating body is going to step in and make sure the little guy wins might be even more so.

 

I don't disagree with any of that. It's gonna be a shit show all the way to the bitter end.

 

Because nobody knows. If it's all left to play out like it's supposed to, we can pretty conclusively show what's going to happen. If the gov decides to intervene, or they stop trading or a meteor hits earth sometime tomorrow, nobody knows.

There's very good arguments on why it would be in the best interest of the powers that be to let this thing run its course.

My TD transfer today wasn't cleared for GTII today hope I can get on the train tomorrow. But I am 50/50, TD might need it to clear which I THINK was 3 days, so might be Monday/Tuesday I'm clear to trade GTII witht hat.

 

This is always what gets me about echo chambers like reddit. When you ban every dissenting opinion, you end up with a cult.

He’s a gem, but again, he’s talking 650. I wouldn’t bet against 500 give or take. Still not sure what will cause the hedge funds to feel the need to massively cover and send it to the heights people are discussing. If it’s FUD to say I can see 100-200% from here, but not understanding the 10,000% and up projections, then so be it.

 

Yup - I'll check tomorrow, today the order was rejected because of the funds though. I'll try again tomorrow morning and see what happens. I'm in for this train wreck/ride though once I can buy shares. Depending where it ends up by that time....If not, then it's all going in VTI and being boring.

 

Been slowly adding some GTii with the dips after the first. Hopefully the price starts to go up soon
