I did something similar with a credit card. I'd had the card for about five years, increasing the credit limit and talking the bank into a lower APR every year as I built credit. Out of the blue, they cut my credit limit by 75% and doubled the interest rate. I'd never been late, never been maxed out. I called them up to ask what happened and was told that the way that I was using the card wasn't profitable for them. They asked if I wanted to close the account... nah, I'm good. I cut the card up but left the account open. They sent out a renewal card, I activated it and then cut it up. Switched my notifications from paperless back to paper. Took them almost 4 years before the bank decided to close the account.

I think so. Its basically the point where it keeps the maximum # of puts out of the money for that week. More puts expiring worthless helps the long side
