Hey Matt, when you changed your trans fluid to MT-90 did it take a full two quarts? I know it says it's 1.9 but just wanted to see what your experience was on the refill... I picked up two quarts and looking to do the swap pretty soon!

    :D

Yeah I bought 3, but honestly 2 is MORE than enough for a flush/refill. You'll definitely notice even right away how much smoother it is! ;)

The smoked ones are already sold to my buddy with a '13. The retrofitted ones are my stock ones.

Best advice ...... Dont ever ever ever go for a ride in a boosted taco with all the bolt ons.

And for others, dont underestimate these trucks.

^truth. Or just don't catch the boost bug from anything else with a turbo or a charger lol! I knew I wanted more even before I rode in a boosted taco because of my time spent in a ripper of a mitsu evo :D Though I dont think my taco will ever compare to 550 hp at the wheels the track spec'd evo had...

^^x2 to all the above lol.

The forced induction bug is one of the most lethal to be bitten by.

...take it from me, an addict with 3 vehicles all with forced induction.

Corndawg, I'd say you're doing just fine being able to have a 2nd gen Tacoma in college lol. I had a single cab, 2wd Toyota pickup with a 170k to get me through my college years.

I apologize in advance for any subscribers, once I wrap up all my lighting this coming weekend, updates won't be too exciting after that lol.

^^THIS. Matt knows exactly the way I think.

Long travel dreams will remain as that....dreams. There is no real reward FOR ME going LT other than just to say I have LT lol. I've got other vehicles to get that kind of "50mph through the whoops" or "sending it" adrenaline fix going without having to constantly recheck bolts, hose down after each run, or deal with noisy suspension. ;)

If the stable could accommodate it, I'd def have a small single cab "project truck" that I'd tow out to places with this truck.

My 95.5 was way too immaculate to mutilate too lol. I would have to buy a complete beater single cab and start from there.
