    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Yeah man, had a long talk with myself----these last 2 years lol. Realistically, it's a time thing for me. I have no time for a 3rd vehicle as a a purely hobby car these days. So damn busy. It will be tough as shit to let the STi go, but it will actually get enjoyed/driven (I hope) 100x more than I could have time for these days. It might even be gone by Saturday. *sigh* Definitely a sentimental car to me!!

Thanks brotha! Not selling to anyone locally bc I don't want to see it around after I pass the title over to the new owner lol.

...but YES nothing seems more intriguing than rolling coal, IN A TOYOTA PICKUP. :D :D :D

I dont blame you. I would do the same thing if I ever sold something I put so much time, effort, and money into. I HAVE to keep the truck. lol

yessss... I wont hold my breath for Toyota, it would definitely be awesome, but Im thinking Diesel regardless.. which of the 3.. not sure. partial to Powerstrokes and especially Cummins.

For me, Powerstrokes were NEVER the same after Ford's contract ended with Navistar/International aka after the 7.3 Powerstroke. IMO best iteration of the Powerstroke still to date.

As for HD pickups, I've always been partial to GM myself, AND always loved Cummins engines(even back to the clacky ass 12 valve'ers lol) ...so if Toyota doesn't deliver it's down to Duramax or Cummins for me!

Hey Matt, any way I can get a close up pic of your headlights (I know you don't want people straight up asking how you made them/directly copying you) but I really want to see them closer. They are so damn nice.

Feel free to PM it to me lol

Aside from the Dmax HD pickups, the Vette, the Camaro, and the CTS-V............anything else GM makes is about as relevant as the road pebbles in my tires lol.

My buddy has a 10-sec Dodge Ram 6.7 Cummins, and it didn't take much for it to run those times either. Maintenance wise, assuming you do things yourself, the Cummins is hands down the easiest to work on. Definitely the roomiest engine bay of the 3 lol. Love the straight 6 mini-semi sound too.

Nothing to hide here bud, enjoy:

Built by Cesar @ Lightwerkz. All specs of the headlight build are on page 1 of this thread too. ;)

BAD NEWS to report on them though....my passenger side Morimoto XBALed halo (100mm) is dying a slow death. *SIGH* It has a ton of dead LED's. Luckily, it's somewhat masked by the ginormous LS460 projector when they are on. I spoke to TRS Andrew about the life expectancy on the "old" XBA LED Morimoto halos, and he said something to the effect that they have been known to slowly crap out prematurely due to inferior(to today's drivers) drivers etc. He noted the NEW "XSB" Morimoto Halos are LEGIT & SOLID though. Nevertheless, my next headlight build, will NOT feature anymore halos lol.

Here's a current picture of the previously mentioned 1st world problem with the passenger side halo *SIGH*

CTS-V ftw! my uncle has a built sedan out in Huntington.

I have heard nothing but horror stories regarding the TRS halos.. every single one of them burns out eventually. sucks.. because I am about to build my 2.0 headlights and was going to use the switchback TRS halos. Now.. they might be the upgraded versions, but i dont know if i want to take that risk. my CCFL's, although not as bright, have lasted 4+ years of heavy abuse.

Thanks again man, i just found them on page 34. Ive said it before and will say it again - I COULD LOOK AT THIS BUILD ALL DAY!!!

My future headlight build will not feature a halo (some will wonder why) either. Trying to cut down on cost and complications...So is that like a clear shroud or something??

    @ChadsPride @XPOTRPR

I would definitely NOT recommend any halos on anyone's retro these days. They'll look dope as hell 1st year in, and then who knows if they will maintain after that. I agree though, the new halos could very well be SOLID, but I will no longer take that chance anymore for the next build.

yeah its really hard for me to ditch my CCFL's.. they are just unbeatable. not a single issue.

I may look into the new versions of the TRS halos tho.. cuz i reeeeeally want to complete my white/amber setup.

CCFL's were my FIRST CHOICE for the current headlight build on the truck now, wish I never would have strayed from that original plan. Actually regret it every fucking time I have to see the dead LED's in my pass side halo lol. I'm thinking just going with a shroud with its own built in LED source like the Panamera for the next build.

Especially with a component that is sealed into something. It's such a pain.

Not sure where he got his. And he's not on here that much anymore. Although I love his truck and wish he was.

So I will try and help.

I got mine from Camelback Toyota online. Shipped super quick and was in brand new mint condition.

    Sweet truck bud!
