    Np. ;)

    Lol...gets em everytime.

You should see the looks I get with the even bigger DTF decal on my rear window.

There was this girl behind me at a red light with a lifted 2nd gen and I was watching her do a double take on my rear decal and she actually snapped a cell pic lmao. Watched her from my side mirror.

The fogs don't need adapters as long as you get the H11 size. I put the link to the LED fogs on my truck a few posts above.

The Triton Switchback LEDs come with all necessary adapters. Its a pricey kit but I think its worth it. You know from far away a Tacoma that has it lol. Bright!

Shipping wasn't too bad, but you're in Hawaii right? (I see the 808) It might be a lot more :(

Awesome build! Had a question for you though. I see your '95 was an access cab, any reason in particular for upgrading to the double cab?

I also have an STI (2004, PSM) and I'm used to the interior room, 4 passengers + boarding gear, etc... I'm looking at picking up a truck soon though and am having a hard time deciding between an AC and DCSB. Unlike you I probably won't be keeping the STI (it has 130,000 miles and has seen 10 Michigan winters... it's just not worth it) so I won't be able to fall back on a car when I need to carry people.

What are you thoughts on the cab setup between the two trucks you've owned?

    Thanks! :)

In all honesty, I PREFERRED a double cab 1st gen, but ONLY if I could have the 5-speed manual with it. Unfortunately, Toyota never produced such a configuration in that generation of Tacoma so I went to the next best thing: access cab. I've owned manual Toyota pickups my whole life(3 total), and absolutely could not picture myself switching to an automatic. Some find that ridiculous, but that's just "my thing" I guess.

I like having as much (comfortable) space as possible for people. Like you, I'm into the outdoor recreation(MTB) and have friends sharing the same interests---so being able to have space for my friends is a must.

*I* think the double cab is the way to go in your case, but it all comes down needing the people space or bed space more. There's always the best of both: double cab long bed, but not everyone is looking to drive a long MIDSIZE pickup. The 2nd gen access cabs are pretty roomy, but in my eyes, not very convenient for transporting people. The front doors ALWAYS have to open for people to get in and out, and there's really not that much space back there for the average adult as it is. I love my DCSB, and a lot of it has to do with the interior space. It's a really convenient setup for what I do. I don't need a long bed and I have yet to find myself needing more bed space for my day to day uses of the truck.

In comparison, my 95 was much smaller obviously. I'd make friends drive separately if it meant being on the road for more than a couple hours because it was tiny back there. I never really used the full length of the bed other than for misc bike gear(helmets, pads, hydro packs etc).

I find a lot of people who own Tacomas also own Subarus...that's awesome to hear you're a Subaru owner! Both great brands to own. :D I drive my Forester XT more than my Tacoma and it's seriously THE BEST auto investment I've had. It hauls people, hauls the dog, and the only vehicle I own that I trust being safe in the rain or snow.....hauling ass in it is just a bonus lol.

I say go for the DCSB man. I don't know about you, but I would hate regretting not having more interior space. If you need more length in the bed, drop the tailgate. ;)

Yeah I'm not really concerned about bed space to be honest. The most I'd be fitting is a quad or dirt bike (which requires the tailgate down in both cases I'd imagine) or kayaks, which I'm sure requires straps in either case.

I think it's a coincidence but I tend to sway towards brands with high aftermarket support, high resale and tons of customer loyalty. I had a Jeep Wrangler before the STI lol.

Thanks for you input on this whole thing. Definitely leaning towards the DCSB so I can take people with me. Kayaking and snowboarding isn't fun at all unless you have some people to go with. The AC just wouldn't accommodate that.

I wish I got a chance to grab one of these TX|Pros when they were out. Might jump on the new TRD Pro and build it like yours if I can wait.
